Namaste Ninie, and greetings of smiles from India! Was just catching up with your older posts and wanted to say (as belated as it was) that you just keep to what your heart shouts out at you. I'm sorry to see that despite your purest of intentions, so many people still showered your life with lame musings such as weight, hair length, and minuscule concerns... I for one, find you immensely special and hope you will continue to share your yogic knowledge with us on this site.

I still can't do my nataraja perfectly but within my own ahimsa limits, I think it's pretty ok! :) You have inspired me with how creative yoga can be in one's life. Hope you get to India one day. I've been doing the dusty backpacking here off the usual route for a couple of months now, and it's one awesome planet in a continent.

Until next time in this big space, namaste

renunciation at any level is a gradual process not to be forced.it evolved in accordance with acceptance on your side.if not driving a car fits u than at that point in time u would have been at peace with it.

Well said, Ninie. Reminds me of the Serenity Prayer too: "God (or, the Universe, or whatever's applicable) grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference."

I visit often, even from the previous site you had. I write to say good job. Your practice and dedication to your practice is inspiring. BTW, I practice yoga in my home on my sparse living room floor.
