Ninie Ahmad: Off her yoga mat.

Her daily AFFIRMATIONS of staying optimistic especially when she's (upside) down.

I break my record everytime I stretch and I compete honestly with healthy rivalry.

My oh my..

Most of us are still not over the unexpected collapse of Yoga Zone in August 2008, so I don’t think anyone (myself included) is prepared for another big yoga gossip I confirmed earlier last night.

Will it be unbecoming of a yogi me to have been slightly errr, happy if not relieved upon hearing the breaking news?

Or have I turned into a cold-blooded entrepreneur in this dog-eat-dog business world (if I can rephrase – ‘downward-dog-tergolek-upward-dog yoga business industry’)?

My oh my..

  3. I thought I saw you in Bangsar in front of Nirwana with Supertall like a couple of weeks ago, but wasn’t sure, partly because I was a bit .. umm… blur… and it was night and I was waiting for my friend to get us a table. HAHAHA!

Oh well… keep it up darl. Although we have never really been friends (despite what ‘other’ people might have thought, I wish you well and pray that both of us are blessed!

  5. WIRA: Of course there’s hope, beyond HOPE – it is definitely possible.

You might want to start cutting calorie way back, if I can suggest – only one rice meal per day, or per week, if you can afford it.

Then start moving A LOT (alternative word for exercising) to burn the stored fat after turning them to energy. How to know you are ‘moving’ enough to burn at least something? Move continuosly for at least 45 minutes, only when the heart rate stabilizes, the stored ‘bad energy’ = fat is ONLY starting to be used / burned up.

    My theory in losing weight / achieving ideal weight;
BURN MORE THAN WHAT WE EAT. Eating less / skipping meals only slows our metabolic rate.

Please keep in touch and let me know how you progress?
Start today and right NOW ya?

  6. Ninie,

Thanks. Indeed your reply to me is a wake up call. I do read a lot in webbies but still non of them could motivate me.

Your simple theory [burn more and eat less] sound more practical to me.

To achive my ideal weight of 70-75kg might taking years to accomplish. No short cut right? You think?

Will start NOW and certainly will let you know the good news in 2 weeks.

  7. Hey,

Any chances that BeYoga will be expanding soon (in 2010)? Say… (Around) Bangsar, perhaps….?
